UEFA European Football Championship

The draw for the finals came up with some interesting games. Not that England can claim any success at the Euro finals, but they were probably relieved to be drawn in a group that also features France, Ukraine and Sweden.The Republic of Ireland have some tough games against Spain and Italy.

The four groups are as follows;

Group A; Poland, Greece, Russia, Czech Republic
Group B: Holland, Denmark, Germany, Portugal
Group C; Spain, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Croatia
Group D: Ukraine, England, Sweden, France

England's match schedule is as follows;

Monday June 11: France
Friday June 15: Sweden
Tuesday June 19: Ukraine

Republic of Ireland's match schedule;

Sunday June 10: Croatia
Thursday June 14: Spain
Monday June 18: Italy
